Just Maybe
07:10
|
|||
Can you hear me calling out at last from this future to the past.
It wouldn’t matter if you did, at least I think that’s what you said.
The sun is setting with the moonrise, I used to love that in your eyes.
I’ve got a lot more days behind me than I got waiting their turn.
Smoke is curling toward the ceiling, ain’t that much wick there left to burn.
It was so easy in the old days, happy days just rollin by.
They say time waits for nobody, not even me, but I thought just maybe.
The air is too hot for September filled with smoke from burning timber.
But rain will find me about midnight, seems like nothin's goin right.
It was so easy in the old days happy days just rollin by.
Hold your breath and close your eyes, float on down-stream...
So much to lose, so much to gain, so many things got to change.
I can still remember when I was young, laughing with the rising sun. (but now)
The sun is setting with the moonrise, I still love that in your eyes
The sun is setting with the moonrise, I still love that in your eyes

You're My Flower
08:50
|
|||
I’m thinkin’ of wanderin’ and I’m wonderin’ where I might be tomorrow
I’ve misplaced my telephone and my Facebook zone well I can’t event borrow
But I’ve still got your brown eyes so cloudy skies won’t drag me down in sorrow
Cause no matter where I am in this fine land you’ll always be my flower
Oh oh oh you’re my flower
There hangin’ at Mesquite Creek with your aching feet and our eyes all filled with color
There dartin’ around our toes that lizard knows where to go to find some cover
Never seen so many rocks, so many rocks fill the boxes and still they’re overflowin’
Funny but that’s just how I feel when the love is real and the desert wind is blowin’
Oh oh oh you’re my flower
There beneath the railroad tracks lyin’ on our backs watching’ moonlight through the window
Gulls cryin’ their plaintiff sound while the wind blows ‘round and ‘round the shadows
There beneath the cozy down we are soft and warm and your breath is like a meadow
No matter where I be near rock or sea you’ll always be my flower
Oh oh oh you’re my flower

Froggy
06:17
|
|||
Tiny little froggy in a tiny little pool with a tear in the corner of his eye
wonders where all the other froggies went not another froggy in sight.
Far fewer froggies all over the world nobody really knows why
and I don't wanna settle for a plastic one that makes a noise when I walk by
Wake up, wake up, wake up, before what's good that ya got is gone
When I was a little crew cut boy playin on my uncle's farm
I used to cool my feet in the muddy pool while the tadpoles swam around
Now my old uncle is passed away and the family farm's been sold
The wild that was is in the middle of town and there ain't no tadpoles no more
Wake up, wake up, wake up before what's good that ya got is gone
Mother, I promise we'll heal your wounds
Mother, I promise we'll start real soon
I know you feel like I do and I feel pretty bummed
There must be somethin we can do besides sit here and suck our thumbs
We can sing this song all day long, sing until our throats go dry
I don't wanna settle for a plastic one that makes a noise when I walk by
I don't wanna settle...

This Cowboy's Heart
06:21
|
|||
I used to ride a wild horse, when I was very small
I used to sing for hours, riding straight and tall
I could see the sagebrush blowin’ on the windswept desert plain
Though I lived in green Wisconsin, and came in from the rain
When you’re small the world is endless and all within your reach
You wear the hat, and you become the person of your dreams
Though my horse was made of wood, and I was only 5
I shot a million bad guys, as I rode across the skies
On Sunday nights my friends came in, I watched them on their show
Papa Ben and Adam, Hoss and Little Joe
Oh, they lived for real the life I dreamed and knew I’d have someday
a ranch, some cows, big sunny skies, and a horse to ride away
But the Ponderosa’s gone and my dreams have all moved on
Still the memory lingers on... in This Cowboy’s Heart....
The workin’ life, the city lights, I got to pull my share
As I search for understanding from a brown-eyed girl somewhere
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a happy man, my life’s not so bad
Most of the things I’ve wanted are right here in my hand
But the dreams that shape our early years never really die
They come to us on sleepless nights, twinklin’ in the sky
Oh, the Ponderosa’s gone and my dreams have all moved on
But the memory lingers on... in This Cowboy’s Heart....

You’re feelin’ kinda wild, feelin’ kinda crazy
You wanna step into the night, but you’re listless and lazy
Get up from the chair, get your legs movin’
Leap into the air, time to be doin’
We know what you need, we know what you need, we know what you need
Electrooooooooooooo Sheep Therapy
You think you’re movin’ now, you’re just getting started
Warmin’ up your hips, oh, somebody farted
Movin’ to your shoulders, wiggle them around
C’mon you can do it, time to go to town
We know what you need, we know what you need, we know what you need
Electrooooooooooooo Sheep Therapy
We are such a Woolly bunch, standin’ ‘round, eatin’ lunch
Doin’ greens and sayin’ “baaa” and watching out for old grandpa
Who’s got his eye on all of us to keep us safe and on the bus
‘cause he’s the master don’t you see of
Electroooooooooooooo Sheep Therapy
Open up your eyes, get them started blinkin’,
First the left one then the right, I know what you’re thinkin’
If you blink them really fast, it might make you dizzy
Like a trip out of the past, back when you were frizzy
We know what you need, we know what you need, we know what you need
Electrooooooooooooo Sheep Therapy
Are you still feelin’ listless, you better listen to me
This is your office visit, so receive your therapy
receive your therapy, receive your therapy
We know what you need, we know what you need, we know what you need
Electrooooooooooooo Sheep Therapy

Love is the Power
05:31
|
|||
Not gonna give in, Not gonna give up
Not gonna sit down, Not gonna let up
Gonna keep shouting out, Gonna keep holding on
Gonna keep standing up, Gonna keep loving strong
Love -------- is the power
Love -------- is the power
C’mon get off the couch, There’s a lot we can do
Everybody now clap your hands, Time to change the mood
Don’t matter if you’re rich or poor, Don’t matter of you’re black or white
In the city or the countryside, Everybody gotta do what’s right
We protect the water we drink. We protect the air we breathe.
We protectall the people we love. We protect the birds and bees.
Not gonna give in, Not gonna give up
Not gonna sit down, Not gonna let up
Gonna keep shouting out, Gonna keep holding on
Gonna keep standing up, Gonna keep loving strong
Love -------- is the power
Love -------- is the power

When the Day is Done
06:11
|
|||
Pulling in at Lover’s Lane, at the edge of town
Turning off the radio, news just gets me down
At the setting of the sun. When the day is done
Yellow is the honey bee, yellow is the corn
Ice and water shake their heads, “Oh what have they done?”
At the setting of the sun. When the day is done
Is it really me, am I the one to blame
Because I looked the other way. Oh, I don’t wanna say
Summer time, winter time, every time it seems
Chaos knockin' at the door, can you hear the screams?
At the setting of the sun. When the day is done
Is it really me, am I the one to blame
Because I looked the other way. Oh, I don’t wanna say
Lose me in your eyes. Where I can’t be found
Where your love surrounds...
We try our best (our very best) we do the best we can
Get up in the morning, do it all again
At the setting of the sun. When the day is done
Dream the North will love the South and South love in return
East embraces West just like your loving arms
At the setting of the sun. When the day is done
Is it really me, am I the one to blame
Because I looked the other way. Oh, I don’t wanna say
